Less – nothing more: With the new MERKEL K5 CARBON, Merkel takes the principle of the break-action rifle to its logical conclusion. Reduced to the essentials, precise in function and uncompromisingly lightweight.
At its technical core is the proven Suhl tilting-block action – a design principle that has stood for compact construction, secure locking and hunting precision at Merkel for more than a century. In the K5 Carbon, this tradition meets a state-of-the-art carbon stock from Austrian specialist FBT.
The dynamically designed stock with its large thumbhole opening and height-adjustable cheekpiece combines high structural rigidity with modern ergonomics. At the same time, the high-tech material significantly reduces weight: the K5 Carbon weighs in at only around two kilograms. The stock is also available for left-handed shooters.
The result is a break-action rifle defined by technical and aesthetic minimalism, with every detail serving one goal: hunting perfection.
